The stigma of mental illness runs far and deep. Today…

The media sensationalizes mental illness and ties it to violence

Many of us avoid seeking treatment for a mental illness

We are hesitant to even talk about mental illness with others as it pertains to ourselves or a loved one

Passion for Change is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serving as a catalyst to help break the stigma of mental illness by shedding light, challenging misperceptions and driving change.

We do this through research, advocacy and education.

Our core program, Communicators for Mental HealthSM, is a national prototype and now active as a Greater Cleveland pilot project. The program—directed toward professionals in the communications field— combines our mission to break stigma utilizing research, advocacy and education.
